Understanding the Power of Energetics and Mindset in Business Success

Connect to your purpose, embody the future version of yourself, and cultivate an abundance mindset to create the success you desire in your business

When I first started my business, one of my main goals was to replace my 9-5 income and spend each day doing what I love. I had a deep desire to serve and change people’s lives. 

Coming from a place of service meant I created a 6 figure business in just over 7 months – hugely surpassing my original goal of replacing my 9-5 income. 

What I learnt along the way is that women who make 6 figures are not rare. I’m in networks with many multiple 6 figure and multiple 7 figure women. They are people who are leading themselves and creating the results they desire. 

Taking aligned action is required to create 6 figures but it’s not about working harder or working more. 

The key is found in true embodiment. 

I visualised creating 6 figures not long after I’d started my business. My conscious mind couldn’t comprehend how I could create it but I created new beliefs in my subconscious by connecting to the women I wanted to serve. I did this from the moment my business began – when I didn’t have any clients. 

My desire was to serve and make a living whilst deeply connecting to my passion and purpose; everything I do is about serving at the highest level. 

I sat at tables with women who had created what it is that I desired. I currently work with 3 coaches and a mentor as I know it collapses time when you learn from someone who has walked the path before you. 

I’m going to share how you can cultivate a success mindset to create the success you desire in your business. 

5 strategies for cultivating a success mindset in business

1. Connect to the deeper purpose of your goals

It is so important to know your goals, the why behind them, and how it will feel to reach them. Creating a clear vision is key to manifesting the success you desire. 

When you focus on your deeper purpose and your mission, nothing else matters. Any doubt or fear melts away as you are doing something you absolutely love. 

When you align with who you are and what you do with your goals, your potential to create wealth emerges. So, connect deeply to your driving force for money.

When you have a true abundance mindset, you connect with the fact that you can make money over and over and over again. 

The energy of ‘how can I make money’ and ‘I just need to share *this* with my community’ is vastly different. 

Being so deeply connected to your mission and the impact it creates is what will enable money flow into your life. 

Are you so deeply connected to your why that everything you create is deeply connected to it and comes from a place of service?

2. Ensure the driving force of your goals is related to impact

Creating the results you desire is about moving away from ‘needing’ to make X, Y, Z. It’s about desiring to increase your impact.

I didn’t need to make 6 figures – it was all connected to serving at the highest level, increasing my impact and changing more lives. I knew the money was a byproduct of leading at the highest level. When you’re connected to this, everything you create is rooted in love, joy, and service.

If the driving force is rooted in lack or scarcity, it’s going to be difficult to make money. I honestly believe that I made 6 figures in just over 7 months so quickly last year because I focussed purely on service. I had a freelancing job so I didn’t ‘need’ the money – I was there to serve. 

3. Connect to your future self

Behind every goal is the future version of you who has already achieved that. 

Who is that version of you? How does she think? How does she make decisions? What does she believe in? Who is she on Instagram? In her daily life?

What are you doing now that you wouldn’t be doing if you were her?

This version of you already exists within you. She’s just waiting for you to bring her into this reality. 

When I started my business last year, I made decisions from the version of me that was the 6 figure woman. I became her internally before I became her externally. That’s why she’s here now. 

All of my investments were made from the 6 figure version of me before I became her. I’ve invested over £60k+ in my business and each of those investments I made from the next version of me. 

I went first every time before I had the evidence and then I created the results I desired by being the 6 figure version of myself. 

To collapse time, get clear on who you want to become and embody that version of yourself now. Start showing up as her now. 

4. Become aware of your current money beliefs and commit to changing any that are holding you back

Your money beliefs can hold you back from creating success in your business. We often take on the beliefs we are surrounded by, but when you are aware of them, you have the choice to let go of limiting beliefs and cultivate an abundance mindset. 

Start to become aware of any negative thoughts or limiting beliefs you may have around money. These are some of the common beliefs I see:

• Selling is uncomfortable for me.
• I feel bad about wanting to raise my prices.
• I feel greedy for wanting more.
• I feel uncomfortable looking at my finances.

I used to believe that I had to work hard to earn more money and that selling was uncomfortable. These beliefs were holding me back so I reprogrammed them. 

When you notice a negative thought or a limiting belief, question its validity and think about the belief you would like to hold instead.

Ask yourself, ‘How do I feel when talking about money?’ It can reveal so much about your relationship with money if there’s any discomfort.

5. Consciously move beyond your current limits

Your subconscious mind will try to keep you in your comfort zone to keep you safe – your job is to consciously move beyond the comfort zone if you desire change.

Reprogramming your subconscious mind by delving into the inner work is how you can support yourself as you step out of your comfort zone. It’s about expanding yourself and finding joy and excitement in the unknown. 

Remember, there are no limits. The only limitations are those you have created for yourself. You get to create the exact kind of life and business you want.

What if you released all limitations and allowed yourself to create whatever you want?

Fear and doubt will kick in to try and push you back into your comfort zone. It’s important to identify fear and doubt and learn to support yourself through it as mindset is crucial in business success. To learn more about this, read my blog post about mindset work.

• What is my purpose? What is my mission?
• If I could be doing anything, and success was inevitable, what would I be doing?
• Who do I want to become? How does this version of me think, act, and feel? What does she look like? What is her energy?
• What action can I take now to embody this version of myself?
• What fears and doubts do I have that are holding me back?
• How do I want to feel about money? How do I want to see money show up in my life?
