Elevating the standard of your content will enable you to connect with your ideal clients on a much deeper level. Creating content that connects is not all about strategy though. It is also about connecting deeply with how you lead yourself and the energy with which you show up.
Your content strategy should be led from a place of embodiment, self-leadership, and purpose.
Embodiment is about personifying what it is that you lead and support your clients with.
Self-leadership is about the determination of what you do, WHY you do it, and how you do it. The stronger your leadership, the easier it is to communicate the value of your services and sell them.
Purpose is about connecting with your passions and vision so deeply that it becomes the driving force behind everything you do/create/share.
Focus on your internal world first and you will become an energetic match for your desires in the external world. Once you feel like a leader on the inside, your content and brand will reflect this on the outside.
Once you know who you are, your beliefs, your opinions, and what you came here to do, you can focus on truly serving your audience through your content and communicating the depths of the value of your services.
In this blog post, I am going to share how you can step into self-leadership, embody your higher self, and elevate your content strategy to attract clients consistently to your services.
The energy of your confidence and certainty – in yourself, your services, and your clients – will say more about your services than anything else. The brands that people are magnetised to are those whose energy speaks first.
This is why self-leadership is SO important – because your energetic vibrational frequency is what you attract. If you’re attracting from a place of doubt, you’ll attract clients who have doubt. If you’re attracting from a place of confidence and certainty, you’ll attract clients who have confidence and certainty.
How you lead yourself will carry the message of your services. I always say my number one job every day is leading myself to exist at the vibration of my desires. You need to become the woman who exists at the frequency of what you want to attract.
The months that I’ve attracted multiple five-figure sales – £21.5k, £24k, £33k, £32k – have all come from me focusing on my energy, confidence, and certainty as this emits the frequency to attract the clients I desire to support. My clients who have had £30k months, £20k months, £10k launches, £15k months, and £20k weeks have all been focusing on their energy, confidence, and certainty.
I want you to reflect on these questions: are you embodying what it is that you are selling? Are you showing up in your business from a place of service, joy and excitement?
Resharing something that you’ve read or learnt but haven’t embodied will be felt by you and your clients. Knowing something is entirely different to integrating and embodying it so connect deeply to what it is that you’re here to share.
If you’re not currently feeling confidence and certainty, focus on your internal leadership – your beliefs, your thoughts, your feelings, your emotions, and your actions.
To expand yourself and to move your business forward, it’s your job to raise your standards around these to become an energetic match for your desires.
Connecting to your passions, purpose, and vision is related to stepping into self-leadership and embodying the energy of your higher self. It’s about getting behind your offers and loving what you do.
The energy of ‘I know I’m here to do this’ compared to ‘How can I make more money?’ is vastly different.
Get clear on what lights you up and what you love to do. You need to believe so passionately in the transformation that you provide your clients with through your services.
Your passion and knowing that you are going to lead your clients to success will shine through in your content.
I specialised in English as a teacher, I studied neuro-linguistic programming, and I studied English language and linguistics at university so I have a fascination with how we use language to communicate and express ourselves. It lights me up no end. I invested in working with many coaches and I delved into reading, researching, and learning everything I could about marketing and I fell in love with content creation.
Before my posting felt random and I had no idea if things were or weren’t landing. There wasn’t any structure to what I was doing and since then, I have supported so many clients with content creation and enjoying the process.
I’m also so passionate about ethical marketing. Some of what I learnt horrified me, so I made it my mission to raise my own standards around this. I always suggest using your emotions as a guide. I used the feeling of being horrified to create programmes that felt totally aligned to support my clients.
I’m sharing this so you can see what inspired me to create one of my programmes, Elevate your Content, and why I’m writing this blog. Give yourself full permission to create what lights your heart and soul.
When you are creating content, it’s important to understand the mindset of your ideal clients. Note that your ideal client can be different for the different services that you offer.
Put yourself into the shoes of your ideal client and ask yourself what their desires are. Who do they aspire to be? What are they struggling with? What have they tried before that hasn’t worked? What’s going on for them?
Doing this will help you communicate with your ideal clients and show them that you are the best person to support them.
Get clear on the A to B of your client transformation. Think about where your clients are before working with you and where they are when they leave. Get crystal clear on the journey you take your clients on.
Also, for you to create content that connects with your audience, you need to BELIEVE in that transformation, so this links back to self-leadership and purpose.
When you get clear on the transformation, it becomes so easy for you to talk about it in your content. Talk about the transformation and the exact process that you are going to take your clients through and use this to promote your services through your content.
Next, understand the difference between what your clients want and what they need. Here are some examples:
WANT to be period pain-free
NEED to balance their hormones and work on gut health
WANT to feel calm, relaxed, and not be thinking about their business all the time
NEED nervous system regulation
WANT to sign clients into their offerings
NEED a brand colour palette and typography
Your clients may not know what they need, but they know what they want. Market to what your clients want and give them what they need through your services.
To attract empowered clients, market to your clients’ desires as opposed to their struggles. Then you’ll connect with their higher self and attract clients who are looking for solutions.
Refer to their struggles where necessary but consider the clients you are currently attracting and whether those are your soul-aligned clients.
This connects to the importance of doing market research and understanding your clients. You’ll gain clarity on the language your ideal clients use and this will enable you to create content that connects and truly resonates with them.
If you are sitting looking at a blank screen, knowing that you need to post to connect with your soul clients but you’re feeling completely uninspired, connect to your ideal clients through storytelling to bring your content to life.
Storytelling has been used for centuries and when we build a clear picture in our clients’ minds, they connect with us and our services on a much deeper level.
For example, instead of writing something like this…
“Try these three foods to balance your hormones…”
share value by telling a story to connect to your soul-aligned clients, like this…
“My client came to me as she was crashing in the afternoon. She had no energy after three o’clock and could barely find the desire to cook dinner let alone go to the gym. She felt like she was lacking motivation but when I explained what was happening with her hormones, she changed her diet and things quickly shifted. She’s now much more energised, has time for her family after work and is exercising four times a week. If this sounds like you, try these three things…”
Storytelling helps you to communicate with your ideal clients who are experiencing similar issues and this will support them to connect to the services that you offer on a much deeper level.
Creating content that is relatable will shift your content from ‘inspiring’ to ‘activating’.
Your free content and low-ticket offerings are great opportunities for you to bring clients into your world. This helps you to build trust and credibility with potential clients and establish yourself as an expert in your field. You’ll be able to increase your visibility and reach a larger audience, which is especially important if you’re just starting and building your client base.
Focus on service and giving back to your community.
I want you to reframe selling. Instead of seeing it as pushy or manipulative, view it as an invitation. If you sell in an empowered way, your clients will buy in an empowered way.
Selling is serving your audience, and when it’s done in an aligned way, it doesn’t feel uncomfortable.
Focus on providing value and solutions to your clients. Be authentic and build relationships with your clients.
Don’t try to convince your audience to buy something; empower them to make their own decisions based on the value and benefits that you offer.
Practise non-attachment when you’re selling. By focusing on providing value, rather than becoming overly attached to specific outcomes, you can build stronger relationships with your clients and approach selling with authenticity and trust.

Instead of convincing potential clients to buy your services, focus on serving the clients who already know what they want.
The key to success is building strong relationships so your soul clients get to know, like, and trust you. Clients who know what they want are more likely to buy from someone they like and trust. Therefore, building strong relationships with your clients and becoming a leader in your field is essential.
Establish yourself as an expert in your field. Start by identifying any knowledge gaps that you want to fill. Identify areas where you can improve your skills or gain more knowledge and invest in your professional development. This will help you to stay at the forefront of your field and continue to provide value to your clients.
Social proof, that is, sharing testimonials, messages from your clients, and client feedback, helps you to build trust and credibility with your audience.
This shows potential clients that working with you will get them the transformation they desire. It shows that you are committed to providing excellent service and providing value to your clients.
