Creating a Business Model That Works for You

Build YOUR business, YOUR way – in total alignment with who you are – and set yourself up for long-term sustainable success

There is no one size approach when it comes to business. 

You do not have to create a business based on someone else’s business model just because it worked for them. Your business doesn’t need to look like anybody else’s. 

You can create exactly what YOU want and what is going to bring YOU the most fulfilment. 

Creating a business YOUR way, in total alignment with who you are, is also what will enable you to set yourself up for long-term sustainable success. 

I’ve created a multiple six-figure business in total alignment with who I am. 

Many people ask me how I do so much – the truth is that I absolutely LOVE everything that I do and I’ve set up a business model that works for me, my energy type, and how I love to serve my clients. 

I haven’t done anything that feels misaligned – focusing on pain points, lead generation strategies, complex funnels, or objection handling, to name a few.

If something feels misaligned or overwhelming, it’s only going to hold you back. 

In this blog post, I am going to share how you can step into your entrepreneurial power and self-leadership and create a business model that truly works for you. 

Connect to your mission and vision

First, take a look at the bird’s eye view of your business and consider the golden threads you want every offer you have to be linked with. 

What is your mission? What is the impact you’re here to create?

What do you want to be known for? What is your zone of genius? Ask your clients – what is it that you think of when you think of me and my services? Often, we don’t know what these are as these gifts come so naturally to us.

Then, create a vision for your business. This can be 3, 6, or 12 months ahead. 

In your vision, focus on where you want to go. Your vision is about connecting with your highest self and doing what feels right for you. It’s about creating something that lights you up. 

If you don’t have a vision to focus on, you can feel a disconnect with where you want to take your business. The clearer your vision is in your mind, the quicker you’ll create it.

What does your business look like? Who are you working with? What are your working days like? What are your boundaries like?

It’s important to learn the difference between fear and misalignment here. 

Self-doubt is fear. It takes courage to step outside your comfort zone and take steps towards your passion and what you want but there are also things that won’t feel in alignment with you. When you connect your intuition, it will always guide you to what it wants to create and how you want to create it. 

Living in alignment with your purpose is about allowing yourself to see what’s possible for you and taking steps to create it, not allowing self-doubt or fear hold you back. 

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve made a bold decision despite feeling fear and doubt. 

Choose to be brave in those moments. Choose the highest version of yourself every time. 

Zoom in on your offers

Next, look at where you are right now and zoom in on your offers. 

How do your offers fit into your business model? How does each offer link with the golden thread of the mission you’re here to lead – your soul’s purpose?

Start to think about all of the ways that you can create offers in your offer suite. Do you like running live programs, retreats, online classes, one-to-one sessions, pre-recorded programs, live in-person events?

This is about creating YOUR BUSINESS, YOUR WAY. 

Your business model will grow as you do. As I’ve expanded internally, I’ve energetically increased my capacity to hold more and set up my business model to be able to support more women.

I’ve welcomed hundreds of women into my offerings since day 1 of my business in many different ways:

• 1:1 offerings
• 2 masterminds
• A year long experience
• 5 programmes
• 2 challenges
• 5 masterclasses
• Dozens of e books
• 3 meditations
• A blog
• A newsletter

My long-term vision for my business was that people could come into my world and work with me at whatever level they desired. I started with 1:1 offerings, focusing on creating each offer to the highest level of excellence and marketing it well before moving onto the next offer. 

Ensure you’re deeply connected to your offers

Your offers have to be in alignment with who you are – otherwise there will be resistance to them. 

When you move from creating from a place of fear, doubt, scarcity or lack, you step into a deep KNOWING of trust and faith. This space is calm, certain, and your nervous system is supported. 

You KNOW that clients will continually sign up for your services because of the high value for them. 

There is no right or wrong way to create your business model BUT you have to ensure your decisions are made from desire, excitement, joy, and service. 

Ensure that you fully connect with the depths of your offer. Give yourself permission to reflect, feel into your body, and know how you can lead yourself. 

When you feel so deeply connected to your offer, magic happens. I’ve had multiple £30k+ launches because my energy has been fully in alignment with my offerings, my passion and purpose.

Think about your client journey when you’re building your business model. What opportunities do you have to welcome clients into your world? How do they develop trust with you so that they then go on to buy your offer? Do you have low, mid, and high ticket items to support them throughout different stages of the journey? How does this fit in with your offer suite and the particular service you are launching?

Think about your launch strategy and how you’re going to attract soul clients to your services. Having a clear launch strategy will enable you to create business success and communicate the depths of your services to your ideal clients. 

Give yourself permission to change

I have a plan of where I’m heading but there is so much space for my intuition to flow.

If my energy isn’t fully behind something, I’ll give myself full permission to change it. Last year, I had a plan to launch an 8 week mini-mind in January, which I had planned out with my coach. I felt resistance – so I scrapped it.

I deeply connected to what supported me to create the results I have in my business, and what has supported my clients to create the results in their businesses.

The Embodied Leader was born instead. The combination of mindset, energetics, and strategy. I know with every cell of my body that my clients in The Embodied Leader will transform their personal and business life. 

Give yourself permission to change and evolve if something no longer serves you. Your business will grow and evolve as you do. 

Know that you don’t need to do ANYTHING in your business that isn’t totally aligned with you. 

If something doesn’t feel aligned, take a moment to honestly reflect on what lights you up in your business and what doesn’t. Then, connect back to your vision and what you want to create. 

Journal prompts

These journal prompts will help you to create a business model that works for you. 

• Am I in full alignment with my purpose?
• What do I truly want to create and why?
• What is holding me back right now?
• How do I want my business to look 6 or 12 months from now?
• What next step feels out of my comfort zone? How can I push myself out of my comfort zone in a way that feels safe?

Affirmations

Affirmations are positive statements that help you become the best version of yourself and take consistent action towards the things you desire to achieve. 

Using affirmations is one daily mindset practice I recommend to all my clients. So, create a daily routine for repeating affirmations. This can be in the morning after waking up, at lunchtime, or in the evening before bed. 

Here are some affirmations that will support you to connect with what lights you up. 

• I create my own version of success. 
• I am the creator of my reality.
• I honour the gifts I have been given. 
• I am in alignment with my purpose. 
• I know my offers bring my clients incredible transformation.
